Balanset-1A is a two-channel device for balancing and vibration analysis. It's suitable for balancing rotors such as crushers, fans, mulchers, choppers on combine harvesters, shafts, centrifuges, turbines, and more.

Balancing Rotors in One and Two Correction Planes
The number of balancing planes is determined based on the structural characteristics of the rotor of the machine being balanced.

Balancing in One Plane ("Static")
Typical examples of rotors balanced in one plane are narrow disc-shaped rotors without significant axial runout, such as grinding wheels, pulleys, disc flywheels, gears, clamping chucks of lathes, narrow fans, etc.

Balancing in Two Planes ("Dynamic")
Typical examples of rotors balanced in two planes are long (shaft-like) two-bearing rotors, such as rotors of electric motors and generators, compressor and pump rotors, turbine and fan impellers, wide grinding wheels, spindles, shafts of flour mills, etc.

The Balancing Process with Balanset-1A
The process of balancing a rotor using the Balanset-1A device by Vibromera involves several key stages, from equipment preparation to the installation of correction weights.

Equipment Preparation
Install vibration sensors perpendicular to the rotor's axis of rotation. Attach the laser tachometer to a magnetic stand, directing it towards the reflective tape on the pulley. Connect the sensors to the device and then connect the device to a laptop via USB. Start the Balanset software, selecting the two-plane balancing mode.

Initial Vibration Measurement
Prior to balancing, suspend a test weight and record its weight and installation radius. Start the rotor and measure the initial vibration level to determine the amplitude and phase of the initial imbalance.


Balancing in the First Plane
Place the test weight in the first balancing plane corresponding to the location of the first sensor. Start the rotor to measure the vibration level. Ensure that the amplitude or phase changes by at least 20%, indicating partial correction of the imbalance.


Balancing in the Second Plane
Move the test weight to the second plane (where the second sensor is located), restart the rotor, and take measurements. These data help the program calculate the precise position and weight of the correction weights.


Correction of Imbalance
Based on the data obtained, the Balanset program suggests correction weights and their installation angles for both planes. Remove the test weight, prepare the correction weights as per the program's recommendations, and install them at the required angle in the direction of the rotor's rotation from the initial test weight position.


Verification and Completion of Balancing
Run the rotor for the final balancing check. If the vibration is reduced to an acceptable level, the process is complete. If further correction is needed, the program guides where and how much additional weight to install.

Before conducting measurements, choose sensor placement locations according to the recommendations provided.

Prior to balancing, it is recommended to ensure there is no significant static imbalance. In case of horizontal rotor axis placement, manually rotate the rotor by 90 degrees from the current position. If the rotor is statically unbalanced, it will move to the equilibrium position. Then, place a balancing weight at the top in the middle part of the rotor's length to keep it stationary in any position.

Ensure the mechanism is technically sound, properly mounted in its designated positions, and the rotor is free from contaminants hindering the balancing process.
